The Four New Zones
Zephras Isle in Detail
Zephras Isle draws its visual style from Skywall, the elemental plane belonging to the wind lord Al’Akir. The Skyborne themselves trace back to the Highborne night elves, a branch that split off and settled in that domain long ago. The zone’s central story follows what happens as their protection there starts failing: the elemental winds keeping their floating home aloft are fading, and their society is beginning to unravel as a result.
Zephras Isle isn’t accessible without owning a Skyborne pack — it’s tied directly to the race itself, not a zone you can visit on an existing character. See our full Skyborne and beta access breakdown for pricing.
What About Existing Classic Zones?
Blizzard has also confirmed that several existing vanilla zones are being overhauled to “fill in the blank spaces” left on the original map, though which specific zones hasn’t been detailed yet. This page will be updated once that’s confirmed.
Tips & Tricks
Don’t expect all four zones to be available without a purchase. Zephras Isle specifically requires a Skyborne pack — the other three are part of Forever’s base content.
Check back for endgame connections. Early reporting suggests at least one of the new zones connects directly into Forever’s raid content, though exact details weren’t fully confirmed at announcement.
