Overview

Uldaman’s quest list includes two real prerequisite chains and one substantial standalone quest, on top of the Staff of Prehistoria content already covered separately.

The Hidden Chamber tied to defeating Ironaya, is covered in full in our Staff of Prehistoria guide rather than repeated here.

The Reagent Run Chain

NOTE

Both versions reward 5 Restorative Potion, 55 silver, and reputation with your home faction. Neither version can be picked up until you’ve completed the earlier Badlands Reagent Run quest first — don’t expect to grab this cold on your first visit to either NPC.

The Necklace Chains

The Shattered Necklace. This starts from a random drop off Shadowforge Dwarves, either inside or outside the instance. Alliance players bring 5 Silver Bar to Talvash del Kissel in Ironforge’s Mystic Ward, who sends you back into Uldaman to find the Remains of a Paladin.

Reclaimed Treasures. Both factions get their own version of this quest — Alliance from Krom Stoutarm in Ironforge’s Hall of Explorers. Horde from Patrick Garrett in Undercity. The Horde version in particular is a real long chain: after the initial Shattered Necklace drop, you’ll head into Uldaman to find the Remains of a Paladin, return to Kargath, go back into Uldaman a second time for additional gems and to defeat the end boss, then return to Orgrimmar. Solution to Doom

This shareable, neutral quest Solution to Doom comes from Theldurin the Lost in the Badlands, available from level 30. The quest item itself is found in a chest located outside the instance, not inside Uldaman. Completing it rewards the Doomsayer’s Robe.

NOTE

Since the item is outside the dungeon, this is one you can actually pick up and complete without ever stepping inside Uldaman proper — worth grabbing on your way to either entrance regardless of your other plans.

Tips & Tricks

Complete Badlands Reagent Run before expecting the Uldaman version to appear. Both factions share this same prerequisite structure, and skipping ahead just means the quest won’t be offered yet.

Treat the Horde necklace chain as a multi-session project. Two separate trips into Uldaman, plus travel to Orgrimmar and Kargath in between, means this isn’t a same day objective.

Grab Solution to Doom even if you’re short on time. Since the actual quest item is outside the dungeon, it’s one of the easiest wins on this whole list.

Watch for Shadowforge Dwarves dropping the Shattered Necklace even outside the instance. Both faction chains depend on this same drop, and it’s not exclusively found inside Uldaman.
